I had one of their tech guys spend many hours with me trying to get this software to install. He told me it uses .net framework 2.0 and mine was probably corrupted so we renamed that so the install would ignore it. Although he did not say, I presumed the install includes .net framework 2.0. Can I uninstall this and re-install it, can I get this from Microsoft?
Interesting note, I only want the AiO not anything else, but the install still tries to install the EasyShare portion of it.
Re: Getting Kodak AiO home centre software to work
Hi James, Thank you for considering me as an option to your answer. I love Kodak and their products but as we all know, manufacturers have defect on their own but it can be fixed. Going back to your issue, you can uninstall the .net 2.0 for it is not a windows xp requirement, you can also download it for free from microsoft. The only thing is, if you have a program that uses 2.0 it may not work for the meantime once it is uninstalled. Let me know if you have some concern. Willing to help you to the best of my ability.

Kodak AiO home center, serve as a driver as well for your printer to print from the computer. It will let you scan, copy or print pictures. AIO home center will let you select the settings you want for your printer
My son has the same model and issue. I had him go to http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn034524.jhtml?pq-path=12667 and get the latest software and firmware update.
Make sure to use the dropdown to select your operating system. The page defaults to XP.
The software is a new version of the AIO home center.
The firmware installer updates the physical printer. Before you run this program be sure to read and understand the instructions.
If both ink cartridges have good levels of ink, and you keep getting the clean the print head issue after updating both the software and the firmware, then call Kodak support. 1-800-421-6699, 7 A.M. to midnight Eastern time, 7 days a week. They will ask you if you put in new cartridges and installed the updates for the firmware and the AiO centre software. Be patient. They will get a solution for you.
if you have the software installed on the computer and if it is Xp then click on start button and go to all programmes and go to Kodak and there would be AIO home center......it is vista then click on start button and go to all programmes and scroll down to find the Kodak and when you click on it there would be AIO home center........there is more if you dont find it so let me know
I finally figured out that it was my "Assembly Registration Utility" whatever that is.Reset my computer back to the factory settings and got the printer downloaded which also cured some other problems.Might not do it for u but worked for me,hope this helps u also. The printer is working really great now!
I needed to reload my AiO Home Center software and no one seemed to have the correct procedure. Maybe if you remove & reinstall yours it will resolve your problem. This procedure worked for me on my XP-machine: 1. got to Control Panel/Printers&Faxes and delete the printer 2. go to your Hardware/Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers, right-click on USB Composite Device and select Uninstall 3. go to Control Panel/Add/Remove Software and remove the EasyShare software 4. disconnect the cables from the Printer 5. download from Kodak.com the program "install_aio.exe"; run the program (I selected only AiO+EasyShare+Software Updater to load) 6. followed the prompts after the sw installed to reconnect the Printer cables 7. rebooted
