My samsung L730 lense is stuck

I turned on my camera one day and three loud beeping noises went off. I then noticed that the lense was stuck halfway opened. I tried taking the battery out while the camera was still on, but that did nothing. Now the camera wont even turn off by itself, i have t take the battery out in order to do that. I just got the camera and i have no idea what would have caused the problem!, please somone help!!

I have the same problem with these camera. to get it fixed just take out the battery wait for a few sec and put the battery back on, then switch the camera on. for the lens just gently move/force the lens to open, then turn off the camera wait for a few seconds then turn on the camera back on see what happens. and if still persist keep doing it till gets back to normal.
this sometimes happens to my camera from time to time i think it just its wear and tear.
one more problem with this camera is that it'll go blurr, just do the basic turn off or take out the battery wait a few sec and then turn it back on.
hope this will help u.

Try removing the batteries and memory card. Let the camera set for awhile. Put the batteries back in but not the memory card, restart the camera. Does it work know? If it does, turn the camera off put the memory card back in. Turn the camera on, does it work now? If it doesn't, replace the memory card.

Met the same problem. I disassembled camera and found a lot of sand in lens transmission. I couldn't move lens even by hand. It was strongly jammed. I had to disassemble lens block completely to remove all sand. Now camera fully functional.

I tried turning it on, removing the battery, replacing the battery, and turning it on. This didn't work. When I repeated this but also removed the memory card, it did work.

Katie take it back to where you got it places like best but some time will just give you another camera no questions asked.

I encountered this issue today while taking a photo of my dog she licked the lens... the LCD screen went all blurry and I was unable to take any photos. The thing kept beeping at me and I was about to throw it in the bin until I had a good look at the lens. As there was a picture coming through on the LCD I knew it wasn't completely stuffed however as the camera couldn't focus an image it gives the unhelpful beeps which apparently translates to clean the lens! So i gave it a clean and presto it was fixed!

Just be careful when u clean it make sure u don't scratch the lens with rough material or use chemicals. Hope it works.
