I need this driver please

Hi every body
I was have laptop acer and now i have prblem in his screen so i deside to get new one and i have now HP with Windows vista ok
Now the problem i get out the hard disk from the old computer (acer)
and put it in the case to be as hard disk external
now when i try to connet to this HP he told me you dont have driver software
i need the data in the hard disk because it is very important
Note: when i was using ACER it was working in WINDOWS XP and format files NTFS
