Most Android phones can add an extra memory card. Most people think that will do the same as the internal memory, but it is not true.
You should see the micro SD card as a hard disk. The stuff you put on there, can't work, unless you place or install it in your main memory. So the main memory can become crowded and you can't solve that by adding a memory card. You really have to delete apps, or copy data from the mail memory to the SC card. And then delete the data in the main memory.
When you deleted files and folders on your flash drive, they don't goes to trash. Deleting won't make them erase permanently.
