My pen drive is attacted by hidden virus.how to clean it?

this mean your pen drive infected by virus, at my experience your file not lost but just the virus hidden your file and change the file attribut as system, and because of that your computer not show your file
scan your pen drive using anti virus, i usually use smadav anti virus, this is the local antivirus at indonesia (indonesia is my country)
download smadav antivirus at http://smadav.net
after download double click smadav antivirus and click start scan, and this antivirus will show your file that hidden and infected virus, if the scan process finish click fix it for turn your file back shown again

I think it could be due to virus activity. Due to virus, there are few problem makes,such as the contents of the drive will be hidden, that's why user can't see or the files and the space available for use is less than the capacity and also can not open the drive or can not delete any file.

Your pc already affected by virus ,you will need another pc to put the pen drive.then you will format the usb drive.Actually an auto-run program is running in your pc you can manually remove the virus .follow the instruction.

It is virus which uses autorun feature of the removable devices such as USB Pen Drive. These type of viruses usually have two files. (a) autorun.inf and (b) the executable (.exe) or script file. Some Antivirus programs delete the exe file but the autorun files remains. In your case, the exe file (rahul's virus protection.vbe) has been removed but the autorun entry is there, which is run everytime you try to access your pen drive. First, plug-in the drive and DONT OPEN IT. Open 'My Computer' , right click the pen drive and choose explore. (This would by-pass the autorun feature).

Download Flash Disinfector and save it to your desktop. Double-click Flash Disinfector.exe to run it and follow any prompts that may appear. The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive. Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well. Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
Reboot your computer when done.

(Flash_Disinfector will remove any autorun.inf files, create a hidden folder named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. Don't delete this folder. It will help protect your drives from future infection)

If this is a U3 Sandisk USB stick drive you can usually use the launcher installer to backup the contents if it is still physically working.
Otherwise there are a few websites that will offer a recovery application

This is because the pen drive contiains viruses. scan the pen drive and computer with the proper antivirus.after scanning delete all the viruses from it.
Then if the viruses are not deleted from the pen drive please format the pen drive. you cn remove the viruses by formatting.

DONOT connect your pendrive with the computer having viruses in future or else again you wil get the same problem

When you plug in your pen drive, don't open the pen drive.
You can see an secondary storage device icon in your 'My Computer'.
Right click the pen drive and scan for viruses.
If you really have virus then the virus, the antivirus agent will show you the virus.
You can kill/delete the virus.
You won't lose any of your data.
( OR)
I have one more option,
If you have linux(Linux Ubuntu, Suse Linux,...) installed in your system, you can login to Linux and
plug in your pen drive, you can delete the virus directly, by opening the pen drive.
Here also you won't lose any of your data.

Which antivirus are u using? U should update it. or Try with Norton or MCaffe antivirus.
other wise u can search for any hidden files exists in the drive. For this goto Tools then FolderOptions then View then check Show hidden files and folers and Search the virus name by using Start\search options
