Question about LG Washing Machines
To my knowledge, error code "SE" indicates a sensor fault. The sensor is attached at the end of the motor. Its function is to monitor the speed and direction of rotation. If the sensor is faulty, the logic controller would not be getting one of its inputs and therefore would halt the system operation. It is relatively easy to replace since it is only held by a single screw and attach to a single connector. There are however a few instances that the sensor is OK, it is the wiring/attachment to the controller board that is faulty or the controller board itself.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
