Worked fine till yesterday when began giving me message CD Tray not properly set. The tray goes in fine once print is activated on Epson CD LABEL Print but then comes back out again with that message and red light flashing. If I try again, it gives me the message CD/DVD tray open... which of course it must be to print a cd. In the past, I've gotten the message "Tray Open" and by closing and restarting all worked. Now, it doesn't. I've tried for two days to get it to print CD and NEED HELP. Anyone know what to do?

The tray is for the DVD or CD itself, not for a label. The printer prints directly on the CD or DVD, you must use ink jet compatible blank disks, the white ones with no printing. You don't need a tray to print the label.
My husband adjusted the CD/DVD tray, then we selected the icon that looks like a wrench on the printer's message window, then "restore default settings" on it. Turned computer off then on again, and it FINALLY started working again :)
Simply pull your printer away from the wall about 8". The tray needs to stick out from the back of your printer when it loads. If it hits the wall, it will not work properly and eject. Just try moving your printer forward enough so the tray can stick out from the back and you'll be fine.
