That is because solitaire is for xp and is not compatible with Vista. There is nothing you can do to make it work, it won't work be design of Microsoft.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

I've installed Cossacks(the Art of War) in Windows 7 Professional. HP-Pavilion Slimline s5710F.The game come up with double vision still can't play, everythink runs together.

I think there is a form of copy protection that installs a driver onto your computer. It was originally designed to be used on Windows XP only. In order to fix this issue, you'll need to contact the game developer for an update or patch that allows you to install the game. There is no other work-around for this, because Starforce contains a driver that Vista will not accept because it is built for another operating system. Starforce protected games are well known to be one of very few XP titles that will not work on Vista without an update or patch, due to its design.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD GAMES FROM DESKTOP

go to search and click all files and type ms......(right before the game(s) you want to upload to the flash drive...example for solitaire you will type mssolitaire, search and every solitaire file will pop up you only need to copy the 3 or 4 main files (exe,help,32 and the I386) you might have shortcuts in the search do not copy these. note copy this only do not cut from..if placing onto laptop / another desktop you must put each file into its appropriate file/folder on programs windows (check the path by right clicking select properties on each file so you can place it correct location)...also note vista games may not work on 98 or xp or vice versa

Once you insert the CD, go to Start -> My Computer, and Double Click on the Drive that has the Hoyle Picture. This will either start the Installer/Auto-run window, or it will open a series of files. Double click on Setup.exe if it does not autorun.
