Question about JVC TH-C60 System

1 Answer

Systems shuts off if sound gets too loud.

I just bought this system today and hooked it up. Everything appears to be fine by first glance but as soon as the volume reaches a certain level (which is only moderately loud) it shuts off. Any suggestions?

Yes, i had this same problem. If it was too loud, at level 37+, any loud boom would shut down the subwoofer, subsequently shutting down the speakers. As such, I figured it might have been the 8 pin dim cable, but that wasn't it. What solved the problem was lowerin the BASS level. Not the level on the subwoofer, but the actual BASS level. I had it at +10 (the max) and it was too much for the system to handle. I don't think I ever had it like that so I'm assuming someone, maybe my daughters, moved the settings. But anyway, moving the bass level back down to either 0 or +3 at most maintains the "boom" effect of the subwoofer minus the shutting off of the system.

I bought the Intex 2100 gpm sand filter (16") and pump from Amazon for $199. I turned it on about maybe 6 times. When first tried it just made loud grinding sounds no pumping, then would shut off....

these pumps should run 24/7 as they are SMALL,
try contacting Amazon. see if you can get a replacement pump, pump only. also, see my tips and tricks keeping pool from turning green

I just bought a Coby home theater system 5.1 surround sound dvd/cd/ player model#765. I've got it all hooked up but I have one problem, when I want to listen to my tv stations through the home theater...

Hi - Your Home Theater System and your TV should have separate volume controls. You should be able to control each individually. Start by checking the volume level on your TV with your HTS shut-off. Turn the volume on your TV all the way down to 0.

Next, turn your HTS on and check the volume level there. Is it still loud? If so, try turning the volume down on your HTS. That should do the trick. If its not loud then you know you can control the volume on either the HTS or the TV. If this answer does not help, then please write us back with a little more detail. Thanks.

Front bose speakers and bass module stopped puttimg put sound

If you're saying you hooked the Bose speakers directly to the Yamaha's amp instead of the prescribed way through their own bass module - they're cooked.
