I tried to say this in the beginning, but he was determined to crack the case, lol. I figured out it was the power supply and had an extra one within specs of tv and it has worked ever since

Are you trying to take it apart because it won't turn on or does briefly? If so, it is not an internal problem like somebody is guessing on here. I metered my power supply and it was putting off low voltages. Don't assume just because you have a solid green light on the supply that it works. Replace the power supply and you will be good.

How do you remove the back casing?

There are plastic tabs that hold the back in place in order to get the screws to align. Use a flat head screw driver or kithchen knife to pry the tabs apart and slip the cover off.

Magnavox 15MF605T/17B how to remove the front panel to replace speakers?

I presume the back cover does not really open from the back or if it does you cannot see the speakers from the rear?

which if you cannot see them with rear cover removed leaves two possible paths, the entire panel unit with the screen has to be removed and they are under it OR the entire front may be snapped together and has to be pryed out (if you see a seam or crack like area running around the side up front get a thin metal putty knife and try to open it, seen a lot of computer LCD monitors where they come apart from the front--and are snapped together much like some of our plastic remotes--have to go in from the front and not the rear.

Do some careful looking to see what you have.

Lamp changing Instructions for tv model wd-52525

    Hello

Unplug your Mitsubishi DLP TV and position the unit so you can easily access the back

Locate and remove the screws for the back panel. Do not remove the entire back of the TV but the lower panel only. The screws will be located in the edge of the panel.

Locate the projection box in the center of your DLP TV. The projection box will have a series of wires coming out of it and be attached to the speaker housing with four screws

Remove the four screws holding the projection box in place and slide the projection box out. It will not come all the way out but will slide out like a drawer. Disconnect the electrical wires at the projection box by pulling the connectors apart. You should now be able to see the projector lens itself.

Facing the back of the DLP TV, the lamp box is on the right side of the projector lens. Pull the lamp box to the right and it will slide away from the projector lens

Grab the top of the lamp box firmly and pull it out of its spring holding clips. Replace it with your new lamp box by pressing the new box into place in the same manner as the old one. Finish the job by reconnecting and installing everything you opened or removed

I can't remove the stand off the tv

Hi, i have instruction on removing your base stand.

    Removing the Pedestal Stand
    1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat,
cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand
protruding over the edge of the surface.
Note: Extreme care should always be used when removing
the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
    2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose
the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed
    without tools.
    3) Remove the four screws shown in the diagram below. This will
allow removal of the pedestal stand.
    4) Once you have removed all four screws holding the pedestal
stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by
sliding the pedestal stand away from the TV.

How do I open case to replace capacitor?

The SK-19H210S case is held together by the four screws on the back (around the label) and those under the cover of the base hinge/plate... (besides various plastic tabs which can be loosened by prying, after all the screws are removed).
After removing the four screws around the label on the back, the base hinge's plastic covering can also be pried off by pressing in on the bottom of the rounded bulb on either side of the hinge, at spots close to each side of the hinge, and then rolling it upward... as there is a single tab/catch on each side of the bottom, and four tabs across the top of the hinge cover. With the hinge cover removed, there are four screws holding the hinge plate to the TV... and under that plate are two more smaller screws recessed into the case. After all ten screws are removed, you can then pry apart the TV case... taking care along the TV's front bottom where the speaker grill is... as that front grill/bottom is a separate piece tabbed onto the full case front... and the grill contains small plastic 'fingers' which deliver the blue illumination through the grill, when power is on, from an LED inside. The grill does -not- need to be separated from the rest of the front piece, and doing so risks breaking the plastic fingers off, since they extend from the inside into the holes of the grill.
Once the TV's frontpiece is off, four screws hold the screen (with an electronics cage metal-taped onto the back of it)... you can pull the push-button control board up from its resting place to remove one of the screws behind it. Next, being careful of the control wiring, you can rotate the screen over and out, laying it below the TV case back... exposing the electronics cage. Then, noting color/position, proceed to unplug external wires and a ribbon cable...
CAUTION, you canNOT just pull it out from the 'cage' end. It can be detached by flipping up the release (the dark edge where it plugs in) with a fingernail... you canNOT just pull it out, or it will be damaged. The other end, in white plastic with 'horns', can be pulled out of its receptacle. Next, you must carefully peel back the metallic tape at the bottom and side of the cage... then turn it over, being careful of the narrow ribbon cable inside.
There are four screws for each circuit board... you might try to loosen one to remove just the power board, or else remove both boards at the same time... the power receptacle is resting on a small lip and must be tilted in and lifted slightly to clear the lip... besides the ribbon cable, there is another plug holding the two boards together. Also, at the port/connectors, there are two screws amongst the connectors, two screws for the HDMI port, and two hex screws for the VGA port... after removing those, then both boards together may be removed from the cage.
Note the polarity of capacitors before replacing!

    Removing base from tv

I researched this problem on the net and found the solution. Someone on one of the posts said the base can be removed by taking out four screws - all from the back of the TV. One screw is the one closest to the power plug, the next screw is beside it, the remaining two screws are the corresponding screws on the opposite side of the base panel (still on the back of the TV). Once these screws are removed the base comes off including the mounting bolt and the rectangular shaped plastic panel. There are no electronics or any components inside the base panel, only the bolt and plastic base which are held on by the four aforementioned screws. It was very easy to remove!

    LCD TV

There is more than two screws holding the back cover on. I think it is more like 4 to 6. After you have removed all the screws you will nee a flat screw driver to help pry the two halves apart. Be careful the front of the cover has little snaps that help hold the two together.
