Question about Packard Bell PC Desktops

Back light to light up screen on my packardbell lalptop does not light screen up but windows can vaguly be seen on model have i deleted the drivers by mistake or is it a hardware problem

Chances are, you have a screen inverter that needs to be replaced. Here is a website that can help you do just that.

The first thing I would do is try a different port to plug in the mouse.
Then if that doesn't work, try a different mouse.
You could also do a system restore back to when it worked.

I'm not clear exactly which driver you are looking for but they are available from packard bell. You need to select through from the page underneath and all the drivers are listed

I installed a new hard drive and the video and sound drivers did not get installed. I downloaded them from Gateway but I lost video completely until I started in safe mode then deleted Invidia then screen...


This is caused by the installation of the wrong video driver.
Check the video driver for your model computer before you download it and make sure it is the XP or Vista version that matches the version of Windows that is installed on your computer.

Do you mean after windows has booted you have a blank screen?
Boot into windows in safe mode (by pressing F8) during the boot up process.
When booted go into device manager and remove any video drivers under display adapters, if it asks to delete the files as well answer yes.
Reboot into normal mode and let windows find the driver for you.

Scroll down to Audio, and download the Via audio driver and then it. It should install all necessary files to communicate with your soundcard.

Lexmark x1270 - have had this printer since february and it has worked fine up until now. When I turn the printer on the power light just flashes green (blinks). I deleted it from my printers folder and...


Now that you deleted the printer you need to reinstall the driver either from disk or from the download.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

Even i once had this problem.
There are two solution.
First remove the ram and wipe it then fit it again.
If this doesn't help then get the system formatted.

This may not be damage, it could be the wrong driver.
Go to the control panel, look at the device menu to see if the display is possibly marked as not working correctly.
Then look at the display settings to see if new driver alternatives have appeared.

Incorrect drivers can damage a display; I've seen it happen (unfortunately).
