SOURCE: Heater cycles on and of, pool/spa does not reach desired temp

hello, It sounds like you may not be getting circulation thru the heater. Make sure the valves are open to allow water to pass thru the heating system. Some systems use a bypass on the heater so there is not a lot of wear on the coil system in the heater. If it is not circulating it will get too hot and the safety shut down will occure. If you are getting water circulating thru the heater, then the thermocouple or auto start igniter system is not working correctly. It is trying to start and can't then recycles. If the burners are igniting on the startup and then shutting back down you may have a bad control unit or thermal sensor unit. Since the unit is gas have a professional service it for you. Good Luck, RAC

Can I replace a non color changing spa light without draining the spa?

All the free standing spas I ever worked on, all the lighting & controls are accessable through the cabinet of the Spa. The "In ground" spa lights are pretty much treated like a pool light. whereas the light fixture is in a housing that is normally unscrewed from the top of the mounting ring & with a little "tip & lift" housing & cord come out of the water

I have two LED color lights in my pool. 1 changes color but the other does not

Your post did not specify the brand of pool lights you have, but assuming they are Hayward, it sounds as though the lights are out of sync... that is, one light is running a different program than the other. If both lights are controlled by the same on/off switch, this is a simple fix; If they are on separate switches you would use the same procedure, but then BOTH SWITHES must be toggled AT THE SAME TIME. To re-sync your lights, turn both lights on and, if necessary, wait for the15-second full-white period to elapse. Next, turn both lights off and wait no less than eleven (11) seconds, but not more than fourteen (14) seconds before switching the lights back on again. Remember... if each light is controlled by a separate switch, then both switches must be toggled "on", "off" and then "on" again at EXACTLY the same time. If the lights are operated in this sequence within the 11-14 second window, they will both automatically revert to full-white light for 15 seconds and then reset to program one. From that point on, as long as you switch the lights on and off at the same time (to cycle through the color programs), they will remain in sync. Good luck.

I have two color logic lights, twice now water has got inside the light fixture I have had to replace them both time, any idea how this happens

Defective units, bad seal, or when soemone changes the bulbs, you must always replace the seal. It cannot be reused. Also possible the seal was not installed correctly. If these are new lights, they have a 1 year warranty. HTH

I have 2 light colors in my pool in one of them When I turn them on one just flashes

LIGHT SYNCHRONIZATION If your pool or spa has multiple Hayward ColorLogic LED lights, they may be operated independently, or they can be easily synchronized so they will all display the same colors and shows at the same time. For light synchronization, all lights must be wired to the same switch. Once installed, all lights should be automatically synchronized, however, if they get out of sync, they can be re-synchronized easily. To re-synchronize your lights, turn the switch on, then back off, then wait between 11 and 14 seconds and turn the switch back on. When the lights come back on, they should enter program #1, and be synchronized.

Colorlogic Pool Light flashes like strobe

These swimming pool lights have a power-cycled feature. THis means that you can power down the light and then power back up in 10 seconds and the light pattern will change. It sounds like your light is not cycling properly. Power it down for a full 60 seconds. This will reset the power cycle. Then try turning it on and off in 10 second intervals. If it doesn't reset, you bulb may only be partially functioning and it may need to be replaces.

My Hayward Colorlogic pool light is flashing like a strobe light

That particular swimming pool light has a power-cycle feature that allows you to change the way your light illuminates your pool simply by turning it off and on. A strobe like effect is one of these power cycles. To change it, simply turn the switch off and then turn it back on within 10 seconds. It should reset to another cycle. It is is left off over 60 seconds, it resets to the first cycle, which could be the strobe. If cycling doesn't solve the problem, your bulb has probably malfunctioned and you are going to have to have a repair tech service it.

Multi color light will not come on/only flashes a second

These swimming pool lights are have a power cycle function. It could be that your power cycle is not working properly. Turn the light off for more than 60 seconds to let it reset. Then turn it on and off in 10 second intervals. If the color does not change or the light does not stay on, and you have tested your ground connection, then you will probably need to have your bulb replace.
