Go into the BIOS and in Startup change the DVD/CD drive as the first boot device, then the laptop will boot up with the recovery disk. Make sure the recovery disk is in the DVD/CD drive before you booy up your laptop.

SOURCE: Dead Sony Laptop

If power supply is supplying correct voltage, then you do not need power supply PCB.

Try starting the laptop with AC adapter and no battery, if battery is shorting out you may get same problem.

Test the soldering joint on the AC socket and laptop motherboard, if there is a bad soldering on laprop ac adapter socket, you get same symptoms.

If it is none of the above, and the adapter is fine, then it is usually a faulty motherboard.

SOURCE: sound card for sony

Hi,
I'm assuming you mean drivers...
the wireless driver is here: http://www.sony-asia.com/support/download/product/pcg-v505cp/modelfirst
I can't find the sound driver, but you should be able to either 'update' the driver from the device manager, or download all sound drivers from the following link, burn to CD, and let the computer update from that automatically... http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks

In battery is dead

Mostly this problem comes up if you dont shutdown your computer properly as in by offing it by holding the power button and stuff like that. What you can try doing is when you on the computer it should let you choose if you want to go to the BIOS menu or System Recovery and you go to System Recovery and if you would like reboot the whole computer or just choose to repair the windows and it will reinstall the windows files only which should take care of the problem.
