1) If you have some usb device connected, take it out and try again
2) Take out the battery and try again
3) After start and before windows load hit F8 and select Safe mode

Check there if your computer has some virus or spyware infection.

Or these can be another reasons

    1. New hardware conflicting with old hardware.
    2. Bad or failing hardware device.
    3. Connections not connected or connected properly.
    4. Other hardware issue.

    Depending of the problem.

you can try the 3 first steps and see what happen.

Do you have signal on your screen?

Do you see the windows logo?

After this at this point If you don't know nothing about computers I recommend you that ask for tech local service. (not neighbour or friend)

First 2 of your problems are due to the fact that your laptop enters hibernation (or hybrid sleep in windows 7) and windows cannot restore your last saved state. The 3rd problem indicates you have windows problems (bad/not updated drivers, filesystem corruption, application issues). I would suggest you to reinstall windows.

Screen on laptop keeps going black

please explain further. keeps going black from where? after turning on the laptop? of after windows logo? if after windows logo screen turns black if a no boot issue where laptop cannot load system files. if screen is black after turning on no manufacturer logo and windows logo or anything then it might be the LCD or video card / motherboard. to isolate try connecting your laptop to an external monitor and check if you will be getting the same problem. if no display from the external monitor then its a video card issue, if video card is integrated needs to replace motherboard.

Set up appears and then turns off!

My idea is bad & corrupted Hard Disk Partition.
Normal partition is FAT32 or NTFS, once this is corrupted you cannot go to windows or even on safe mode, unless you are going to reformat again your windows system to a new one.

Here is what you do, reformat your Windows System in a new one by using its Recovery Disc or Bootable Disc.

Good luck!

If i am helpful please rate me.
Thank you.

My screen remain dark when my laptop is turned on.

If you can hear the sound of Windows starting up, your blacklight probably died. If you can't hear the Windows start up sound, Windows may need to be re-installed. Most likely though, it's a faulty backlight.

Please rate, Thanks!
