k i was told that i should replace my ps3 hard drive would any hard drive do or should it be a laptop hard drive via desk top.

- ps3 hard drive is like 150-250 $ a lap top off new egg is like 59.99 i think the week is worth the price plus i have the first gen 60G ps3 the OS is kept so i wouldn't have to back up any thing, or so i'v read.

neither would work you have to go and buy a specially adaped harddrive for the diffrent firmware. or you could spend a whole week downloading the programs so the harddrive will be compatable.
