Question about Samsung HP-R5072 50 in. Plasma HDTV
My screen 106 cm 7month old samsung plasma has just recently started getting little red dots every were dark in the picture after it has been on for a couple of hours 9 (Really Anoying). Does anyone now wat causes this prob? or if the tv is just a lemon? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
The driver board is going bad it sounds like and if you do not call up and get it fixed under warranty, as it should still be under a warranty, then its going to be a nice hefty repair bill. Good Luck Ps Please dont forget to rate this thread

Call Samsung customer support. I had the same problem and a Samsung Field Engineer came out to my house and adjusted the vscan voltage to get the red dots out of the Gray/Darker colors. This is a typical adjustment for some plasma's and was painless from my perspective. Most of the time for this fix was taking all the screws from the back panel off and on to get to the adjustment. This was all covered under warranty (including labor). Samsung has a great warranty for their plasma's..
