Sony pcvrx514 cmos battery part number

Hi
This appears to be a desktop machine, and most motherboards use a CR2032 type coin style battery.
If you can get the battery off the motherboard being careful not to damage any part of the motherboard then the type and voltage of the battery is usually engraved on the metal case.
If this not the case then compare the physical dimensions - very carefully - between your battery and a CR2032 and if they correspond try the CR2032 before looking elsewhere.
Cheers

Replace dvd rom

CD/DVD reader/wroters are 'generic' parts, so any that the right size (5 1/4" or 'slim-line') with the right connector (IDE or SATA) should work OK. If in doubt, just buy from Dell (at their rip-off 'spare part' prices)

To get the Optiplex case open, look on the Dell web site for the 'service manual' ..

How do I replace low battery in dell dimention 8400

The Dell Dimension 8400 has a CR2032 battery inside the case. If your computer is saying that it is dead when you turn it on, this is a quick fix. A new CR2032 battery can be purchased from any general store (Best Buy, Walmart, Radio Shack) for about $4. Open your Computers case. There are buttons at the top and bottom that let it open like a book. You will see the battery somewhere on the main board. It looks like this. Use your finger nail or a pen to push the clip holding it in place out of the way. Replace with you new battery and close everything up.

I would like to purchase the black plastic pieces that hold the bills down in the drawer.

Hi.
You will need to find a dealer in your area to buy these. They are called bill holders and are usually very cheap. Look up your brand in the phone book under cash registers.

I need a new power pack (Battery) for my PC. Part

Do you mean the CMOS battery? (The little round one on the motherboard?)
In this case, you can replace the battery with a standard CR2032 lithium battery (3 volt, 220mAH rating). You get that at Walgreens, Radio Shack etc.
For how to replace the battery, take look at page 9 of the manual.
If you don't have one, you can download it here.

If you are looking for another battery, just come back here and leave a comment. I will check back and be happy to help.

My note book Compaq Presario 700 is dead

Does anything happen when you turn it on? First thing to try is unplugging the notebook and then removing the battery. Then, replace the battery, plug in the notebook and try to power it on. If nothing happens still, try removing the battery and then plugging it in and try to power on the notebook with no battery in it.

How do I take a Toshiba Satellite A25-S307 laptop case apart to replace the hinges?

I guess you are talking about the topcover/screen hinges, this is a very simple job to do.
Have a look here for instructions on the repair of Toshiba laptops and note books.

R60 laptop keyboard removal

Samsung R60 plus laptop keyboard removal

Hi - It's relatively easy!

Remove battery.

Close (but not latch) the lid.

Gently press each hinge cover at the rear of the unit where it meets the base unit (You'll see a joint in the plastic) and get a satisfying click as it lifts. Carefully open the unit almost flat (- careful!) and use a small rounded watchmaker's or preferably similar dimension plastic / wood implement to lift the hinge through the hinge recesses until the switch/indicator plate clicks out at each edge. Then gently use light pressure to remove the rest of the plate away from the keyboard top side. There is a lifting point above the keyboard between the Pause and Insert keys if you need to apply a little extra pressure. There are several moulded clip pieces along the front (keyboard edge of the plate). There are no screws or wired connectors underneath - so lift away. There are two screws underneath the case which hold the keyboard in one either side of the CD/DVD drive locating screw. Turn the machine back over and locate the three plastic lugs in th case at the lower edge of the keyboard. Located near CTRL, Spacebar centre and Down Cursor keys, gently press each one towards the front of the machine with a flat edged implement starting centrally at the same time carefully lifting the keyboard unit. There is a flat ribbon cable connected underneath don't tug it but manouver the keyboard so that you can release it properly.

Job Done!

Replacement is an exact reversal of the removal process - use gentle care and firmly placed pressure to click the various plastic lugs int place.

Now ... about that spilt milk in the keyboard .....!
