If you have oil running out of turbo it could be the gasket between the oil lineand the turbo or it might be the ceramic seal in the turbo

Lack of power when accelerating

You really should have a code check done. There are numerous items that can give you similar symptoms. Two places to look are the fuel filter (usually overlooked till they gum up, and the throttle position sensor (but test it first with an ohmeter. You will need a manual (vehicle specific ones are available at most larger parts stores and most of those stores also do code testing free)

Altenator draw

This engine has a heated intake and glow plugs. The heating element draws alot of juice from the batteries. After the heater cycles, the volt gauge wil jump back up. This is normal. Good luck

Injectors problem

Injector maybe but i'd check the glow plugs if they are not working in some cylinders it could act the same way, only allowing a couple cylinders to preheat the fuel mixture for easier ignition, if it runs fine after it warms up the injectors are probably ok

Chevy was creative with their placement of securing screws. There are others you are missing that probably are not obvious till you look real hard.

Shifting problem

This problem is caused by carbon build up in the exhaust, try running it real ******* the freeway, full throttle, u will feel it when it clears, it happens slowly so u don't notice anthing but perhaps delayed hard shifts and the like, I have checked many truck forums and they all say the same thing, carbon in the exhaust, so try it, what do u have to loose?
