I have had my all in one for about a year maybe less. the scanner always worked no problem. then one day it won't scan. i get a message saying check the cords in the scanner, in the wall or restart my computer. how can i fix this problem?

Make sure that you are using genuine Lexmark cartridges and not refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges from the 3rd parties. Lexmark products work best with original supplies. I understand not all the same series of printer models have used the same cartridges. Better to check with Lexmark company's website or authorized service center. I'll try to check myself also I could with my old college friend working in Lexmark but not 100% due to territory model production while am living in Asia, Philippines.
