Question about Kodak EasyShare C340 Digital Camera
Up until a few days ago my camera worked find sending pics to the PC, but now when I plug it in, and turn the camera on the green light keeps blinking but the screen is black, and nothing happens on the computer... What's going on?? Please help
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

SOURCE: plz help
remove the SD Card and the batteries. Wait for half an hour and then insert two new batteries. Do not put the SD card in as yet. (Waiting for half an hour or more allows the camera to reset itself).
Now try switching on and good luck.

After you connect your camera to your computer, you have to turn on the camera manually. It will not come on automatically. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is completely normal, as soon as you hook up usb cord, the camera screen will be blank. It will function just fine and normal.

Try photo recovery software to rescue the lost pictures from the camera, here are some you may rely on. Both programs can also recover videos and music.
Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery (for Mac OS X)
Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.
