Turntable is slow, especially noticable on 33 1/3 rpm

hi,
your turn table is a belt driven one. The speed turns down when the belt become expanded. you should replace the belt of your turn table. Also put some lubricant in its center shaft ( not from the top lubricate it slightly after removing the plater).

I have here added some video related to the replacement of belt for turntables.
Not the exact for your one,for all the belt driven turntable the procedure is the same
ok

My turntable speed is too slow. I have the optimus lab 1000 and there are speed adjustments on the bottom side of the unit but turning these either for 45 or 33 rpm did not change results. I have already...

Look under the platter or on the bottom of the turntable. There should be two adjustment holes for 45 and 33. You will need a small screwdriver for adjusting these. If this does not work clean the control pots with spray cleaner.

Optimus 1000 belt drive automatic turntable

Usually, for most turntables, the belt goes on the bottom of the platter first. Then you put the platter back on the turntable. From here you should see an opening on the platter where you can 'grab' the belt. Pinch the belt, and then wrap it around the rotating motor's shaft. This is usually at the top left side - around the 10 o'clock position.

Optimus lab 1100 Turntable won't turn!

The mechanics in your arm postion is throwing the switch. A mechanical postion switch has sliped out of postion, a arm from the toner arm post has moved to an encorrect postion, or if your turntable has a multi-album play abilty your 'next to play record' post postion sensor switch is out of postion. Last or first is your belt could fool ya. Your belt may have a weak spot on it in turn no friction underload.

How to remove platter on Optimus Lab-1100 Turntable

on the shaft in the center where the hole of the record goes there is a locking washer on it . you can carefully remove this with a thin knife of something similar . you may need to use a little force , it is on there pretty tight however it can be removed .good luck

Will not turn on (no rotation of turntable)

theres not much to a turntable if belt is on and you can turn the table freely then i would guess there be a blown fuse inside
