Question about Magic Chef MCWC30MCG Compact Wine Cooler
Unit will not operate. There is a clicking noise and it appears to be an error code 77 flashing on the temparture display.
My MCWC8DSCT cooler has same symptoms with flashing red and green leds in back. However, if I push power button clicking stops and red LED is on. Opened up back and found water inside cooling module (this is a Pelletier cooling devise no compressor). I assume I need a new module. No help from Manufacture. This appears to be design defect allowong mositure to gets into the module.
The magic chef is probably the ptc relay.to the left of compressor is a shield with 1 screw behind it .on top is the relay with 1 wire.wiggle it off .go to repairclinic.com...part#1206838
