Auto threader fell apart

Received my machine and the shipping must have been a little rough as I found the parts for the auto threader laying loose in the box. I need to find and exploded view of the assembly so that I can reinstall it. I really don't want to send it back for warranty as that would probably be more than a month

SOURCE: parts fell out

WE FIXED IT!!!!! Ok my fabulous husband fixed my automatic thread foot last night and now I am sewing away. Here is what he did best I can describe. when you engage the thread shuttle, a piece comes down from the right of the sewing machine. I has a spring on the back and a very thin piece of wire with a white plastic moving part. the foot has to snap under the white plastic thing... so you have to very carefully take the white thing out of the track and then put the foot in. the bar side with the larger metal pin goes here and the foot should be facing towards the needle. Hope this helps and if I didn;t explain it well please leave me a note and I will try again :)

SOURCE: Auto threader cassette don't work any longer, How can i manually thread the machine to use it without the cassette?

Have you tried using the 'Extra Spool Pin' that came with the sewing machine? It is normally used for spools that don't fit in the cassette. When using the extra pin, make sure there is no needle in the machine when feeding the thread through the machine. Then install the needle and thread the needle manually. Check out the manual on page 24.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: thread assembly unit for SE 270D has failed as

I don't have an answer, but yesterday mine jammed up too. When I put the thread cassette in, it got stuck on the little piece that slides up and down. I guess that I will have to take it in to the shop. I feel like this machine was a total waste of money.

Auto needle threader fell out

Difficult to assist without a make & model.

Threading a needle is easy if you first lick your index finger and then swipe it across the back of the needle eye. The thread will appear to "leap" through the eye. Works well even with these tired old eyes...

Can the automatic threader be fixed can i do it myself?

Depends what is wrong with your needle threader. Needle threaders tend to be very fragile parts so it is not uncommon for them to stop working. You may be able to replace the part if it is broken but it may be a job trying to find the part. Search the internet for parts for the make & model of your machine. Once you get the part, search the internet (YouTube) for videos showing how to replace the part.

On the other hand, it is not a serious problem if the auto-needle threader does not work. These options were not available until the most recent sewing machines were manufactured and your machine will most likely operate for many years despite the broken needle threader. Manual threading was all that was available for over 100 years.

HINT: To help make needle threading easier, lick your forefinger then swipe the back of the needle's eye. The moisture in the eye will help pull the thread through.

Cant make the auto threader work on an elna 2007

Do you mean the auto needle threader?

Mine won't work on very small needle sizes so I resort to the old manual needle threader for these. Ditto for twin needles.

Otherwise its a case of pulling the auto threader down so the hook swings into the needle eye, then pulling the thread over the face of the needle and catching it into the hook, then release the threader so it pulls back through the needle eye, taking the thread with it.

The only other thing that springs to mind is "is the needle at the top position in its stich cycle so that the threader lines up with the needle eye?

hope these ideas help a little.

AUTO THREADER CAME OUT

When you activated the threader, the needle was down and the threader came off or broke.

If it is not broken, you may be able to push it back into place.

Turn off the power and tip the machine back on some towels so it does not slip and with a flash light check the area where it fits and see if you can get it back into position.

If not, will have to thread the needle the old fashion way.

Check with your Brother dealer to see if they can look at the machine while you wait.

They may be able to get it back together or they will have to replace the threader.

It is possible they will have one in stock, or they may have to order it.

Brother CS6000i... the needle threader broke. A spring fell out and now it's loose and doesn't work. How do I get into it to fix it?

Contact your Brother dealer and ask if this is something you can fix.

If this mechanism is inside the machine, you may do more harm and that could result in more expense and invalidate your warranty.

Singer 2932 automatic threader

A new part is faster and easier but sometimes the problem is a bent hook( the tiny part which goes through the eye of the needle). Remove the needle to see the part better and pull the threader down. Look in the very center of the threader for the hook. It is probably pushed to the right.Using a small screwdriver or other thin piece of metal, force the hook back to the center. Try it and continue until it enters the eye again. By the way, a Singer dealer can get this part for you for under $10.
