Question about Nokia 6126 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

I can't get a blank "theme" on my menu screen.

I accidently hit "reset device" and reset my Nokia 6126 back to default settings. I fixed everything back the way it was EXCEPT for the menu screen background. I have the "Island" theme and it is very hard to read my menu icons. I have tried to delete it and can't and don't have anymore theme options to choose. I HAD just a blank gray screen before the reset.

Yuppe, u can't just delete themes unless you do hard format, which i don't suggest on this case, the best way is, just find another default nokia themes, and use it!

u can download directly from ur phone through GPRS or find some websites that provide theme for ur phone. or just find where the first time u got this 'island' theme? find it again, and search for nokia default theme which u mightstill have or probably u somehow deleted it..

hope this fixya..

HOW TO DO A THEME?

To install themes you have 2 methods available :

Method 1 - Using Memory Card Reader
  1. Remove the memory card from your nokia mobile phone.
  2. Insert it in to your memory card reader and plug memory card reader into your PC.
  3. Locate the free nokia theme file from your PC.
  4. Copy the free nokia theme file from your PC and paste it onto your memory card.
  5. Remove the memory card and reinsert it to your nokia mobile phone.
  6. Locate the file on your mobile phone and click to install.
Mehod 2 - Using Bluetooth

  1. On your nokia mobile phone, select Menu.
  2. Copy the free nokia theme file from your PC and paste it onto your memory card.

Now, to install the theme.

  1. Locate the theme on your PC

Screen problem for Nokia 6126

Are you certain you have a strong GPRS signal? Have you tried turning the phone off for a few moments and then back on, and also make sure you have good signal strength at the time you are trying to send an MMS.

It could be due to network problems as well - the few times I've experienced it, it has lasted for several days and then it has been fine after that.

Phone resets when i send pictures

Hey! I solved it. This seemed to be a common problem for Nokia 6126 phones. I had to go to settings and reset the device with the default security code of 12345 and It work, but it went back to factory settings which is kind of annoying. I didnt lose any files or contacts or anything though.
