A friend gave me this remote for my son but doesnt have the manual its model number ho1579 any ides how i can get the codes for it to wor on a goodmans tv/video. Or how do i get it to do the search feature.
Any help would be greatly appriated.

Turn your device on.
Hold down the set button and press the button of the device you want to program (e.g. TV) then release the set button.
Press the set button again and the red light will start flashing.
Press the power button repeatedly until the device switches off.
This is now the correct code.
Press the device button once more to set the code in to the memory.
