Question about UPS Battery Backup Systems

Connection problem with msr206

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to assist me. Much obliged. To answer your question "No," there is no yellow exclamation mark present next to the device, it continues to be known as "unknown device." Tis is the first use of this device, when I connect it to the keyboard port (where it gets power from) it comes to life, beeps and the lights flash. I downloaded a virtual serial com port software package from download.com. Prior to this I was unable to get it to work on any port. After installing that software it was opening all 8 ports so I am still a tad perturbed.
I look forward to any advice that you may offer.
Thanks again for your time.
Best Regards

1. Try plug in the device to the back of your computer instead of the front USB port (this is because some computers don't have enough power in the front USB ports) 2. Some USB 2.0 device are not backward compatible with USB 1.1 ports. Try plugging in with USB 1.1 and 2.0 port to see that's the cause of the problem.
3. Try downgrade all your USB port from 2.0 down to 1.1, you can do that in your BIOS.
4. if all failed, try the USB device on a different computer. Then you can determine if the USB device or the USB port is the culprit of the problem
also, if you can't find your solution here, you might be able to find it on the link below...

Hi!! Thank you for your time! We're doing our

A few questions. Is it an stand alone one? seems to me a 500VA rated UPS, for light loads only.

Some stand alone common problem.

1. Battery for replacement
2. Fuse busted
3. Faulty relay

If repair and battery replacement outweighs the new one or got a small difference. Its better to have a new UPS unit.

Hope this helps

Maxtor Portable Hard Drive 250GB

Hello Robbie.

Basically all you do is drag and drop. If you open up the drive (By double clicking it) then just drag the files you wish to store right into the drive and hey presto your done let them copy over which will take time depending on how many files you are sending over.

Good luck please dont hesitate to get back to me Robbie

when you set-up your router on your pc try to save the
"wireless security information"
by copying it and paste it to a notepad or where you could put it.

you may have to check the power cord and if that is in place and okay, you will have to check the fuse on the ups. if all that does not work, send it back to the comany for repairs or contact a repair personnel
