Question about Poulan Garden
My name is Dennis and I am here to assist you with your problem.
Please don't be offended with this answer because it sounds so basic but it happens to us all when we are in a hurry. That's the key phrase "in a hurry" with no more information that is described I will venture a few possibilities.
1) If the chane came off and was replaced and the saw stalls when you try to cut it's likely that the chain was bent slightly when it came off and it's binding in the groove of the bar.
2) If the chain came off and it's not binding in the bar, runs smoothly and should cut like crazy but dosn't, look at the image of the chain on the plastic cover of the drive sprocket near the bar adjustment nuts and note the angle of the teeth displayed. The chain may be on backwards, don't tell anyone but it happens to us all when were in a hurry.
Glad to be of assistance. Please rate the solution because I can learn from your rating.
