Black spot on LCD Screen

When I turn my camera on there is a large black spot on the screen and the top half of the screen doesn't show what you are taking a picture off. Will I need to replace to screen or is it the camera? Does anyone know where i can get this fixed? Thanks

You will actually have to replace the screen, so you know the screen's on the camera are VERY sensitive, even just pressing your thumb against it can cause this to happen. You can either get a new LCD and replace it yourself by calling this number: 1-800-223-2001, or can send it in and get it repaired at: 1-800-706-2534, option 1. If its less then a year old it more then likely wont be covered under the warranty though.

Can the LED screen be replaced?

This LCD screen has been hit by a hard object, that is why there is a black spot. You need the screen to be replaced, a digital camera repairer can fix the camera for you.

Black spot appeared on the screen on bottom left side how to clear it

A large black spot usually means the LCD screen is damaged. It may have fine cracks around the black spot. In this case the LCD screen needs to be replaced.
A replacement screen maybe available for your laptop from this WEB site.

KODAK eASYSHARE c530 BLACK SCREEN DOES NOT TAKE PICTURE

You may still be able to take pictures with your black screened Kodak camera. This problem occurs in the line of Kodak EasyShare digital camera models.

When you turn on your Kodak EasyShare digital camera, turn off the LiveView function. Take a picture using the small-windowed viewfinder (this is not the LCD screen). Also, try zooming in and out.

After taking a picture, review the picture to see if the picture has been taken. Then turn on LiveView and occasionally the LCD screen should no longer be showing a black screen.

Broken screen

Sounds like the LCD. Setting anything next to it, bumping it may crack the screen

Screen in toast!

That is definately a cracked lcd your describing! I doubt there is an easy solution but maybe... If you are able to get into the menu and disable the LCD that might help. However! The fact that the LCD is broken shouldn't keep the camera from running (though its remotely possible) If you can't shut it off or work without it the odds are you've got an expensive paperweight. At least thats what I gather based on your description.
