The color is messed up on mine. I accidentally unplugged it and now my Wii and PS2 colors get screwed up. Whenever I play a different game, I have to change the color settings so I can actually see the screen enough to play. What can I do?

If you have not tried it: unplug the units for a while so they can try to reset--if it (The TV) does not have this issue on cable etc you have an issue with the other unit/s.

Maybe you put magnet near to your TV or something that can produce magnetism.... if not the deguassing system is not functioning anymore. .. bring your unit to near service in your place.

If you can get the tv to display the blue blackground(usually happens when there is no antenna or cable feed to tv) check to see if the whole screen is a solid blue, if it shows discolored areas around the screen then you might have to "demag" the screen. See if you can rent a demad coil from a tv shop and with tv on turn the coil in circular movements all over the front of screen till blue is solid.good luck!

Why do I have no color when playing a PS2 Game? I have an Insignia LED-LCD HDTV 1080P 32" TV. I have adjusted the color settings but doesn't make a difference.

I would suggest replacing the AV cables that came with the PS2. The cables you have probably just old and just don't transmit color signals anymore.

You can get replacements from the internet or if you need them today, take a trip to your local Best Buy.

My ps2 has no color when im play games but i can watch DVD's with no problems

Hi, these are reasons or problems that can affect ps2 color.

Its the model games your downloading. the unloaded didn't upload it right.
The problem would have to be your PS2. When you modded it, the PS2 must have had something changed in it.
That thing that you changed may not allow it to read the color on certain PS2 games. You either have to buy a new PS2, or figure out what you did wrong when you modded it.

its something with the chip u used... i did the same thing and replaced it and im working fine now... u should think about getting magic swap... requires no modding to play station and i hear from people that it works well

The thing in the back that hooks up to the back of the tv or cable connection needs to be changed

This may sound stupid and completely obvious, but mine occasionally play without color as well. Try jiggling the RGB cable from the back of the console.

because its the way they made them the only difference is the type of film they use other tha that game play is still the same

go to game stop or a game shop 4 them to fix or it might be that your psp had been dropped or something that happened to it .

Hope it helps.

Hello. i have a Wii. System works fine except it is not in color. i cant find the problem. how can i get the came in color?

Try messing around with your rgb wires that run from your tv to your wii. I had this problem once upon a time & mine were just loose. If that doesnt work, try picking up a set at best buy & giving them a whirl. If they work, great, if not, return em. Hope this helps.

i would say that it depends on the age of the ps2 mine started doing similar things sometime after 5 yrs. this eventually lead to it dying. if its a new ps2 then id say you need a new cord for the ps2 to the tv to solve the color issue and try a universal remote for the tv.. hope this helps. if all else fails a new ps2 at gamestop is like $70

..also make sure you haven't accidentally plugged the composite cables into COMPONENT inputs on your television. That will do what you are describing sometimes.

No color

I had the same problem with a PS2 connected to a small Sanyo TV. To fix it, while the game was playing I pressed a button on the remote control adjacent to an icon that resembles a square with a black dot in the bottom right hand corner. On my remote the button is directly behind the TV/AV button. As you press the button, one press at a time, this takes you through the various video format options available, including PAL, NTSC, Auto etc. When you reach the correct format the colour will return to your game.
In my case, I suspect this button was accidentaly pressed instead of the TV/AV button.
I hope this helps someone else as the problem had driven me mad all day before I stumbled over the solution.
