I have the same problem. Plug in the tv, the green light appears briefly, then a red light blinks once followed by four rapid red light blinks. Called Philips customer support and they won't tell me what the code means. They give me authorized Philips repair center phone numbers. The authorized Philips repair centers won't tell you what the code means and it will cost you $100 just for the diagnosis of the problem. My set was purchased at Costco and is less than two years old.

    I won't buy Philips again.

I have a 37" Phillips LCD TV. it will not turn on and the light that used to show green (to signal the tv on) now blinks red. What does that mean?

how many times does it blink red. the will help determine whats wrong. Most lightly its going to give you 6 or 7 blinks whick points to the power supply this is sometimes a false indication to the ssb/signal board being bad. you coulb try the parts or have a tech come out and verify which is the problem.

Philips 37PF7320A 37 will not turn on

moswt of these i have come accross is either an SSB(small signal board) or a logic board. in rear cases it even requires the replacement of the panel unfortunety ther are a number of test that need to be done on the unit to figure which one it is and i dont recomend you try them yourself.

Red light flashing

The TV is in some kind of protection mode, the blinking LED show you an error code.
Try pressing 062596 and then press menu button (do these in quick motion, don't let them to time out while keying)...see what happens
Well I think that if you would have a service manual for this set that would help a lot, I can send it to anyone who wants it via email/gmail. Let me know if anyone want one.

I also heard that this problem appeared with some people because the of the burnt fuse in the TV. To fix that it has to be taken to the tech shop. mecry.gif

And yes I also heard about this issue many times, seems like this TV set is very popular with this kind of problem.
