99% of the time a blue screen is completely SOFTWARE BASED. This could be a driver conflict, or missing files. What does the blue screen say?

If it were me, a blue screen sometimes means something really serious could have happend. I would let a computer specialist check it out.

Checksum cannot move pc at all

A blue Screen usually means a bad piece of hardware, Remove the latest part you fitted and try again. Although The Checksum would seem to indicate a software or hard drive problem.

I have a emachine t3516 that when you boot it up, ( no matter if your in safe mode or not) the screen turns blue and these words are across the screen. ***stop:oxoooooo5o (oxooooo1oo3, oxooooooo3 ,...

Try reinstalling your windows. If you get an error on install the problem is probably in your hard drive, in which case you'll have to replace your hard drive and reinstall your windows. I really don't think it's a hard drive issue though. Sounds more like a registry issue but the easiest fix is to reinstall windows. Good Luck.

Blue screen

This seems to be an Operating system issue , best way to resolve this is by Re-Installing the Operating system which will wipe everything in the laptop Hard disc, At the Acer splash screen, you can press Alt and F10 to bring up a DOS style version of eRecovery. The unit is able to reload Windows from this mode faster then from CD. If the hard drive is replaced the system loses its eRecovery features. These features are on the hard drive and cannot be reinstalled

Blue Screen Issues

can nit be the motherboard cause you would not be able to boot at all ...probably it was just a real bad virus that affect something ..try to reinstall it clean...first remove the hdd and see it it boots to bios and if it sees the RAM memory ...and even so ..try to get from somewhere some suitable ram memory and replace teh old one ...just to see how it behaves....in most cases I run into when they blow me out and gave blue screen without explanations it was some issues with the ram memory ...so ...first just borrow some of the same size and frequency and see if it boots up ...it might surprise you in a positive way ...

Blue screen error occured when start os installation after create partition,

The blue screen during reformatting is not an issue with the motherboard. The issue is with the hard drive. Find or purchase a new hard drive and try to reinstall Windows on the new drive.

Blue Screen

OK, so I took out the added RAM, changed the internal RAM to a new 1GB stick. The machine booted, windows started, I logged on, then blue screen. I put the old internal RAM back in, changed the hard drive, same result. This test suggests that the RAM is fine as is the hard drive as the blue screen appeared with different hardware. My next step is to replace the motherboard as the appears to be the issue. I'll let you know how I get on.
