Question about RCA CC9360 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
The mechanism that ejects the film won't drop back down far enough to close the door. The label on it says do not push here but even that didn't work .
Usually this occurs when the door latch release mechanism is broken. This mechanism is located on the basket where you push the tape in and it's job is to open the tape "door" on the cassette that you insert. Unfortunately, the only fix for this is to replace the cassette basket. I know your camcorder is actually made by JVC, but I don't have access to a manual so I can't supply a part number for you.
