Question about KitchenAid KERC500 Electric Kitchen Range
The front right burner gets warm however will not get red hot like the other burners when turned on.
Check to see that your simmer switch is in the off position, I just had the same problem and checked it back to the power connector and only had 120 V ????, I about to take the switch out and then saw the simmer switch that I never noticed. Clicked it to off and now my wife is happy again. Good Luck, hope your solution is just as easy.

This is usually the burner or the receptacle. There is a video that will walk you thru testing and replacing these parts. They are both inexpensive and easy to replace. http://appliancehelponline.com/elementreceptaclevideo.html It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations for your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions.
