My name is Vikram Kumar Thumu, from India-Hyderabad. I have seen your message on the issue related to Display issue. . I would like to provide my suggestions on the issue. I hope that this should work for you and will resolve the issue.
To isolate and to resolve the issue please try below solutions....
***NOTE** Before starting below solutions I recommend you to RESEAT RAM in your PC, since it might help in resolving issue. Mostly issue related to display could cause of bad RAM.
Please Restart your notebook and then use the Flash light( Torch light) to check if you can see any image on screen . If no image is seen , then it could be issue with Display screen or an issue with Operating System.
To confirm the issue, please once again restart the PC and then tap F10 key to boot the PC in to BIOS. Now, please check the issue even in BIOS, use same Flash light to check if there is any visible characters in BIOS.
if you are able to see characters in BIOS, then it confirms that is an fault with OS,,, then go ahead try BIOS Update, BIOS default... if the issue still persists use the recovery disk and reinstall the OPERATING SYSTEM in your PC.
If you do not see any Characters in BIOS, then it confirms that it is an fault with NB,(Notebook) please contact HP on this issue for SERVICE OF NB.(,(Notebook)
***STEPS TO MAKE BIOS DEFAULT*****
Press F9 while in BIOS and then once again press F10 . and then save/exit from BIOS
***** STEPS TO UPDATE BIOS*****
Please open below link in the new Internet Explorer. Copy and Paste the link at the address bar and then click GO. This will open a web page that titles as "Download drivers and software "
Once if you open web page, please select the Operating system that you are using, this will open a new web page. Now, click on BIOS option , If there is any BIOS update try to download it else. do not download.
This should resolve the issue for you.
