Question about Samsung T809 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

T809 speaker problem

Hi - My T809 was dropped in a glass of water which was almost empty (mouthpeice Downwards). I think the water still entered the speaker because after that I was just able to hear it, but my voice was not reaching the other party. The water indicator is also still white and it didnt turned Red. After a day, it was better, atleast my voice was reaching, but it was very bleak. So I kept my phone in my car for about 2-3 hours in sun and after that it worked perfectly fine. but again after a day or two, the quality deteriorated. How long do I have to keep my phine in Sun so that it clears out. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

You can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

We dropped it in a glass of water. everything else works but the sound

Hi, a phone with no sound means the ringer is bad,due to the glass of water that spilled on the phone.

You will need to replace ringer inside the phone.

Take care.
