I have just fitted a pioneer DEH-1320MP to my golf but the radio will not hold the presets when turned off. So every time you strart car you need to retune the resets on the radio. Is this something to do...

Yes, someone forgot to hook up the lead that says Batt + to a constant battery + voltage , this will keep the presets on the radio when the key is off, unless you disconnect the battery.

How do I delete memory stations and set new ones

For most radios, select a station you want, then chose which preset you want it at and press that preset button for 3 or 4 seconds to lock that station in that preset number.

My cd player is a pioneer super tuner iiid deh 2000 mpand it will not hold memory once i turn my truck off. when i turn my truck back on my presets are gone

The YELLOW wire on the back of the stereo is either not connected properly or it has a bad connection. The Yellow wire is a memory wire and needs constant power from the battery. Also it is +.

Hope this helps.

My pioneer deh-p4000ub headunit will only play from one front speaker. the rear speakers work fine but the fronts will only play from one. so i ran my own wires from the headunit and now the other speaker...

My friend also has the same problem except he just started using the aux wire again, i do believe this is a manufacture problem, please write them about this problem, also try only routing your own wires to the drivers side then reconnecting the originals to the passenger side

Pioneer premier deh-500ub presetting stations

Storing the strongest broadcast
frequencies
BSM (best stations memory) lets you automatically
store the six strongest broadcast frequencies.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select BSM in
the function menu.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn BSM on.
The six strongest broadcast frequencies are
stored in the order of their signal strength.
# To cancel, press MULTI-CONTROL again.
Tuning in strong signals
Local seek tuning lets you tune in only those
radio stations with sufficiently strong signals
for good reception.
% Press LOCAL repeatedly to select the
desired setting.
FM: OFF—LEVEL1—LEVEL2—LEVEL3—
LEVEL4
MW/LW: OFF—LEVEL1—LEVEL2
The LEVEL4 setting allows reception of only
the strongest stations, while lower settings let
you receive progressively weaker stations.

You can also perform this operation in the menu
that appears by using MULTI-CONTROL.
Selecting alternative frequencies
When the tuner cannot get a good reception,
the unit automatically searches for a different
station in the same network.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select AF in the
function menu.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn AF on.
# To turn off, press MULTI-CONTROL again.

! Only RDS stations are tuned in during seek
tuning or BSM when AF is on.
! When you recall a preset station, the tuner
may update the preset station with a new frequency
from the station’s AF list. No preset
number appears on the display if the RDS
data for the station received differs from that
of the originally stored station.
! During AF search, sound may be temporarily
interrupted.
! AF can be turned on or off independently for
each FM band.

I'm technologically challenged. I have a Pioneer Car CD Player DEH-P4000UB, it's supposed to accept the USB cord to directly connect my ipod and i can't figure out where I'm supposed to plug it in!!!

The USB connector is at the end of a short black pigtail cable permanently attached to the back of the unit. There should also be an extender cable shipped with it. Plug the extender cable onto the pigtail and let it hang down below the dashboard, then plub your iPod docking cable into that. Or if your iPod cable is long enough, you might not need the extender. If someone installed your system and didn't plug the extender cable in first, you might have to become a contortionist to get to it. Good luck!

Setting up the audio system

its best to use the presets until you understand the configs, the truth is the presets arent far from minor adjustments and there is limited advice for best sound because that depends on what you like

Need to setup equalizer on my Pioneer deh-p5900ib

I am not understanding your problem, you can choose a preset or you can choose to tweak each band yourself.
