NVidia 8500gt video card manufacturer

I have an Nvidia geforce 8500gt ddr2 512mb 128bit pcie. It worked just fine for about a month then one day after the monitor went into screensaver mode it would not return to normal function. It just refuses to bring the monitor out of powersave mode no matter which machine I plug it into no matter whether or not I use WindowsXP or DOS. In fact I have another of the exact same card so I swapped them around between the two machines, one works works fine and the other simply will not wake up the monitor.
I've removed and reinstalled drivers, checked for driver version, all to no avail.
I phoned Nvidia support and they want to know who the card manufacturer is. They ran every number i could find on the card with no luck. It looks like I won't get any warranty support from Nvidia unless i can figure out who made it. (made under NVidia's licence I'm guessing)
I can add that the box that the card arrived in, has a picture of a mouse holding a machine gun.
The mouse has a sign on his belly saying "FREUD WAS RIGHT"
