Question about GE Refrigerators
I have a GE GSS22QFMBCC refridgerator, that does not appear to be cooling properly. I can hear it running, but, both freezer and fridger are warm.
If there is frost at the back of the freezer compartment then the refrigerator may be frost blocked or the defroster heaters may have failed. Turn the freezer control to number zero (off). Leave the freezer door open so that the blower will run. Leave this way for several hours until all signs of frost on the back are gone and ther is no water dripping from behind the back panel. Now try to run the refrigerator normally on settings of 5 or 6. If the freezer cools normally then the problem may be solved. If the frost builds up again over several days then the defroster heaters will probably need to be replaced.
