Question about Samsung SGH-E900 Cellular Phone

Memory card write protect?

I'm using a Samsung D900 phone (the pink version!), a Sandisk 2Gb MicroSD memory card, a Crucial Technology MicroSD adapter and a generic USB2.0 SD/MMC memory card reader, with a Windows XP IBM Compatible machine. MY problem is this: I can only look at files on the memory card with my pc, I can't delete from or write to the card using my computer. The error message: "Please remove write protect or use another disc" is not very helpful, seeing as i haven't turned write protect on, afaik.

Due to the fact that my mother stood on my usb bluetooth adapter, and my usb cable has gone A.W.O.L, I now seem unable to transfer files to my mobile. There is no write-protect switch on the MicroSD card, the lock is certainly off on the adapter, and there's nothing on the generic reader, so how have i write protected my card, and how can i UNwrite protect it?

Point out a file to unprotect. and right click your mouse and go to properties and select it as archive (or) un hidden
if same problem
some virus cases try to scan or delete virus using some antivirus software. and try it
(or)
finaly go to formate your memory card.(in case your files or deleted) only use this as alost chance

Maybe there is NO problem with the sd card. I don't know what series Samsung phone you are using but I suggest you read the phone manual about external memory card supporting information. See if this type of 2GB sd card is supported by the phone. Best regards.

Write protection

There is a small switch on the card. The Sandisk site has a photo of a larger card, smaller cards like the microSD must be inserted into the standard SD adapter.

Locked 2gb micro SanDisk Phone card, how do i unlock it?

SD cards and microSD adapters have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Re-format it. Put the SanDisk 2GB microSD memory card into your LG enV2 and format it from there. If that does not work plug it into your laptop then right click the icon and format it to FAT and click on default settings.
