Question about Pioneer DEH-P8600MP CD Player
The face on my pioneer 8600 no longer functions properly. When the eject button is pressed, the face comes out only half way and does not eject the cd. I've reset the unit by using both the reset button and disconnecting the power, but the same happens. I was told that the ribbon that is connected to the face may need to be changed. If anyone has an idea of the part number and where i can source this, it would be of great help. email@example.com
My DEH-8600MP Does not eject. When the car powers off, the unit faceplate does not come off as well.

You can assist the face in going all the way down, once it is in this position it will automatically eject the cd. When the face starts to come down simply help it/gently force it to go the entire way with your hand, mine has the same issue and this is what I do everytime and it seems to work fine.

Tips for a great answer:
Turn the stereo off by pressing the "source" button on the bottom left corner of the stereo's face. Press the "function" button, the lower of the two buttons to the right of the stereo display, until the clock appears on the display. Press the arrow keys at the far right of the stereo's face to adjust the time. Use the left or right arrows to toggle between hours and minutes. Use the up and down arrow to increase or decrease the hour or minute numbers. Press the "function" button once you have set the display clock to the correct time.
