This is normally a low toner situation. You need a new toner cartridge. In the meantime, do the following:

You need to use the [MENU], [< >] and [ENTER] keys to browse through the unit's menu. Find and enter the "System Setup" menu and then search for the "Ignore Toner" option. Press [ENTER] and change the setting to "ON". Press [ENTER to confirm, the, [STOP/CLEAR] to get out of the menu system. The unit should start printing all faxes in memory.

Be blessed.

How do i retreive and receive faxes? My machine has recieved material in memory, yet when i try to print them, the alarm rings after first page and display reads "CHECK PAGE SIZE, press OK" It will re

If you are able to print normally from this model, despite the 'stuck' faxes, then it could be that you have been sent a document that is not the same size as that in your tray. Try cutting A4, if that is what you have, down to 'legal' and see if will move on to next page. If this works, cut some more and print job till finished.
If the above makes no difference, you may have to do a memory reset to clear a corrupt fax record. Caution! this would clear all faxes queued in your machine.

Can you retreive a sent fax from memory

The fax element of the Printer contains a memory feature for storing faxes in the event of a printing problem. This feature is useful for protecting yourself against missing faxes if your printer runs out of paper. In order to retrieve missed faxes, the feature must be switched on when the faxes arrive. You can reprint faxes stored in the device's memory from the main control panel. You should allow approximately 5 minutes for this task, or longer if many faxes are stored in the memory.
Instructions:
Load paper in the input tray.

Press the "Setup" button on the front of the printer.

Select "Tools," then "Reprint Faxes From Memory."

Press "Cancel" to stop printing. Faxes are printed in reverse order; the most recent fax is the last to print.

How do you retreive faxes in the memory of a brother intell 2800

Hello,

The intliFax 2800 has 2 types of memory.

If you have enabled the Fax Storage option (menu 2 5 2) then you can either turn this option off and you will be prompted to print or you can press Menu 2 5 4.

If there are faxes in the emergency memory, they should print once you clear the error message, if not, then press Menu 2 6 which will attempt to print out any jobs in memory as well.

Thanks,

Pat

How do I print from memory

that's because there's a job that's stuck...

Canon jx200 fax machine

The fax automatically turns off Auto Print and stores faxes in memory when either ink or paper is low. The memory will store up to 30 transmissions or 60 pages maximum, so it is important not to leave this too long if you have heavy transmission volume.

Faxes can be retrieved as follows.

If you want to choose only certain faxes to print:
1. Print a list of documents in memory for reference:
Press Menu. Use arrows (up & down) to select Memory Reference, then press Start/Copy. Use the arrows to select Doc Memory List, and again press Start/Copy.
2. Print a document from memory (using the list printed in #1):
Press Menu. Use arrows (up & down) to select Memory Reference, then press Start/Copy. Use the arrows to select Print Document, and again press Start/Copy. The LCD will show the first number in memory (e.g., TX/RX NO. 0001).

Use the arrows to choose the document you want to print, and press Start/Copy. The LCD will then toggle between "1st page only?" and "Yes=(*) No=(#)". Press * to print only the first page, or # to print all pages.
3. Delete selected document(s) from memory:
Press Menu. Use arrows (up & down) to select Memory Reference, then press Start/Copy. Use the arrows to select Delete Doc, and again press Start/Copy. The LCD will show the first number in memory (e.g., TX/RX NO. 0001).

Use the arrows to choose the document you want to delete, and press Start/Copy. [Note - if the arrows do not result in another number displaying, there is only one document in memory.] The LCD will show "Yes=(*) No=(#)". Press * to delete the document. Continue to select documents until each document you want to delete has been handled.

If you want to print all unprinted documents in memory:
1. If you want to have a list of documents in memory for reference before performing this procedure, to be sure you have them all, follow step 1 from the above procedure for printing selected documents.]
2. Press Menu. Use arrows (up & down) to select Memory Reference, then press Start/Copy. Use the arrows to select Print All New RX, and again press Start/Copy.
3. Delete all printed docs from memory:
Immediately after printing all documents, you will have the choice of deleting all documents. The LCD will display "Yes=(*) No=(#)". Press * delete all, or # to retain in memory.

To delete all documents at a later time:
Press Menu. Use arrows (up & down) to select Memory Reference, then press Start/Copy. Use the arrows to select Delete Printed RX, and again press Start/Copy. The LCD will display "Yes=(*) No=(#)". Press * delete all, or # to retain in memory. To finish then, press Stop.

Except when you run out of paper, the faxphone will automatically print out the contents in memory when you remedy the cause of the problem.

If running out of memory caused memory reception, adding recording paper and press {STOP} to begin printing the stored page(s).

After printing the page(s) in memory the faxphone erases the documents from memory.

Fax in memory

This is a bug in the machine. It is on the lexmark site. The machine gets into a state where all incomming faxes go to the memory. It is impossible to print them out. You have to turn off the machine to clear the fault and on re-starting it will tell you which faxes have been lost. What a machine!!! DO NOT BUY A LEXMARK X5470
