Question about Printers & Copiers
This is the third cannnon printer I have owned and each time after about two months the paper jams. It looks like one of the alignment springs pop out. I don't know how to fix this. HELP!
One thought leaps into my brain: paper! If you have old paper it gets moisture and sticks. Keep it in a dry place or foil, shuffle the stack sort of like playing cards to separate the pages and keep the stack fairly small like 3/8 inch then do line feeds to see if the rollers are working right. All 3 Canon printers did this? If you see springs popping out then something is horribly wrong. HP printers are the best for transport mechanics and all printers are relatively cheap these days but paper is often overlooked as a potential problem.
