Question about Pioneer DVR-530H-S DVD Player/HDD Recorder
My Pioneer Dvr-443H recorder will not copy to dick, undo finalize. when trying to copy to a disk it goes through the copying cycle for a time and then a message comes up stating 'Cannot complete copy' Otherwise the machine is ok. it plays dvd disks ok and also records and playsback from the hard drive ok.
The DVD drive works harder when trying to record the info faster. As the unit ages, tracking is less precise. DVD-R copies occur at 4-16X real time. Try DVD-RW disks which copy slower (now that the price has dropped substantially), and you may find that your aging drive can still copy programs from the HD to the DVD.
