Question about Computers & Internet
I am assuming this is a BIOS password.
Inside your case on the motherboard there should be a password reset jumper. You may have to search for it. If you have documentation on your system, it may help. You can also get help from Gateway support for your specific model and motherboard.
You normally have to move the jumper from pins 1 & 2, to pins 2 & 3 and reboot. You should get a message that the password has been cleared. Shut down, move the jumper back to its original position and reboot.
