I am sorry to hear that you have problems with a candy dishwasher. I have had two or three pieces they just died of old age.
But seriously on line there is this manualsonline.com
You will most certainly find your candy manual there for downloading free.

Instructions or Manual required

Actually every dishwasher I've worked on had one water inlet and it was always for hot water. Approximately 3 gallons per cycle.

Water is not being taken in on our candy Aquaviva CD 623 dishwasher

First check and see if there is plenty of water coming into the machine by examining the fill hose inself.
You likely will have to disconnect that hose, not at the machine end, the sink end.
Then, find a way to test the wires to the fill valve, should likely be 110 volts when the machine starts, allowing the fill valve to open.
A volt-ohm meter will tell you, set it to over 110 volts on the A.C. setting.
If no power to the fill valve, you may be facing a new timer.
Be blessed.

Chances are its the wash pump, when you tip it back are you able to see the workings underneath the Dishwasher, if so you will see a largest looking Motor (wash pump) look to see if there is any water marks or rust on it, if there is then this is probably your problem, if thats the case a new wash pump would cost around 100 pound.
