Question about Insignia IS-DVD1001 DVD Recorder/VCR
DVD's from America are usually the cheapest, but if you can't help it and have to buy it in a format from another country because it'll never be released in America due to the music royalties like in Ally McBeal there is a way to make that machine you have play dvds of other regions. Try googling your model.

If, AND only IF, the disc says NTSC on it will it play on this unit. England has a totally different system for playin TV signals...accordianman
