Question about GN Netcom GN 9120 Professional Headset
I recently picked up GN Netcom GN 9120 a couple weeks ago. After following the guide and setting it up it didn't seem to charge completely as the battery light wouldn't stay on. I was actually awoken by the clicking noises it made the following morning. Then I discovered the battery recall - went through the procedure of getting a new one, and still have the same problem - the battery seems to charge for a while, then the lights go crazy, all this clicking happens. I haven't seen the battery light go solid and the thing be silent since I got it.
I'm wondering if there is a setting that needs to be in place or if I have a defective unit.
It sounds like it may be a defective unit in that the charging points on the base and the earpiece are making intermittant contact, hence the clicking noise you get when the unit goes into headset mode and the fact that the battery never reaches a fully charged status.
