What is the f5 error code for the Frigidaire FW647W-5

A couple of references say F5 is "The watchdog is active when it should be off" with the explanation "Microprocessor checking the operation of the EDC relay, after selection of bake, broil, or clean operation. Relay failed this check."

If re-powering via the breaker did not work, it looks like you need to have it serviced. A relay problem should be repairable, but how involved it will be depends on the construction, that is, whether the relay is in a socket or if it is part of a larger control circuit board that has to be replaced as a single piece.

Kenmore model 911.95875790 code f5

The Kenmore 911 series ranges are built buy Whirlpool. An F5 error indicates an oven control error (clock or ERC). Sears Parts Direct lists this as part 16 here: http://parts.sears.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Range-Parts/Model-91195875790/0582/0124111/10052061/00001 . The part is listed as in stock for $171.99. If you had a 4 character trouble code, additional diagnostics could be done to locate the problem.

I hope this helps.

I have a frigidaire oven and it is flashing f2, f3 and f5 error. Is this something I can fix myself?

all error codes are explained in the troubleshooting part at the back of the instruction manual . If you havent got the manual open the oven door and usually on the outer casing of the oven opening you will see a silver label with the model number etc ... type in the google search box " free user manual for frigidaire cooker and then the model number and click search , you should be given links to several sites that will allow you to see the manual this will give you the info you need to solve problem.

E1 and F5 are on digital read out instead of 500degrees and cleaning

The E1 and F5 is a code that the door latching system is creating a fault. YOu might be able to take apart the door latch mechanism, and recondition it.

Kitchenaide range trouble codes

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.@@@@

I have an F5 error message..What does this mean....Fridgedaire es300

The failure code list says to replace your Electronic Oven Controll. Contact a Frigidaire parts dealer and check the price and availability.
You will need to give them your make and model number.
Buckle up! It may get expensive!
