Did it come with a browser for uploading from your camcorder? My JVC did and I used that to burn to disc then to my computer. Then I copied/pasted to sd card/usb

if your camera takes an sd card their should be a save to memory card setting in the menu of the device if that does not work you could transfer them to your pc then drag and drop them on your sd card

reformat your hard drive. That way it will correct the error or flag it as a bad sector.

Sometimes the "my computer" could help. go into it after plugging in your camcorder choose the file and search through the folders.

What is the maximum SD capacity that jvc everio gz mg57 can support?

You may use any size SD card. Bear in mind that SD cards only go up to 2GB. This camera will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Do i need a memory card to record..

No you do not need a memory card to record. The JVC Everio GZ-MG130 is a hard disk drive camcorder with a built-in 30 gigabyte hard drive to record to. You can, however, use an SD memory card if you want to add additional space to save your videos and pictures to.

I recorded thanksgiving dinner with family and friends but i can't find the vidoes where are they.

If you did record anything it is either on the hard drive or on the micro SD card (if you installed one). Here is a link to the manual.

I have the Everio 30BG and have downloaded all the files onto my computer, however there is a message showing 'insufficient space' when I try to record, and yet there are not files. HELP>

Are you saving to the micro SD card or to the HDD? You need to go into your menu options to ensure that you are saving to the HDD automatically. Sometimes I used to save to the SD for pics and the HDD for video (set up in the menu). Maybe you are deleting the HDD files but automatically recording to the full SD card?! Check

I dropped my camcorder and the buttons on the screen portion don't work. I've tried plugging it to my computer and then trying to view the files off the comp but it still doesn't work. What can I do to get...

If they're saved to the HDD then you should be able to access them via your computer using the Power Cinema software for videos. Use google picassa 3 (free download) to extract your pics.

If items have been saved to the micro SD card...put this card into an adapter and put it directly into your pc.

Otherwise....send it to a dealer!

Hi i cant find out what the maximum size micro sd card i can use in my jvc evario gz-mg365

The official line from JVC is

To record video, a microSDHC card with Class 4 or higher performance is required. microSD memory cards (256MB to 2GB) and microSDHC memory cards (4GB) have been tested for the following brands: Panasonic, Toshiba, SanDisk, ATP. No others have been officially tested and can therefore be guarenteed to work

JVC EVERIO CAMECORDER

Have you recently added an SD card? My Everio was doing the same thing. I found out a co-worker had added a new SD card with more memory. In looking at the user guide, the card was not listed as one that was "guaranteed compatible". I removed the new card and the camera is back to starting up fast and no HDD error. Even though I was not storing data to the SD, it was apparently causing data access problems for the HDD.
