Frogger for Windows 97

I can get Frogger (made by Hasbro Interactive) to play properly on Vista, but I can't get the cool music soundtrack to play along with the game like it used to on my old computer!

I have the same problem on windows XP. I can get the music only to play on windows media player but not while the game is running. Playing the game is not the same without the background music playing.

As far as I know, the music does not play on a SATA drive, or on a NT based operating system. It seems to only run on the DOS based operating system, like Win 95, 98, 98SE, and ME. Frogger works fine (with music) on my older Pentium 4 with Win 98SE.

I have the disk super scattergories and I want to load on windowsxp. It doesnt do anything

Microsoft Windows 98 was an operating system used on a majority of personal computers from 1998 to 2000. Because of this, there are a variety of games available to play on Windows 98, but are incompatible with later versions of Windows. If you have Windows XP or higher, you have access to a "Compatibility Mode" that allows your computer to play those games. Activating compatibility mode is a simple procedure.

Right-click the file that you usually click on when you are trying to start a game.

Select the "Properties" option in the drop-down menu.

Select the "Compatibility" tab, then check the "Windows 98" box.

Select the proper video mode for your game under "Display Settings."

Select the "Apply" button to save your settings, and select "OK."

Double-click on your game's file to begin playing the game.

Axis and allies 1998 , won't play on the windows vista laptop. I need to know if there is something i should download to help support the game to play.

Have you tried running the game under compatibility mode? Right-click on the shortcut, and choose properties/compatibility, then choose an OS shell. That shoulod be able to run it.
There is also this place I found that might help you out further : http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=9583.0

I'm looking for a birthday present for my 8 year old grandson. ''Groove It'' sounds interesting. How do you play it? Is it popular? Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks, Dan Saxton

It's a hand held game that plays music and calls out hand movements, that become, in turn more complex.

My 9 year old and 5/12 year old boys love to play, and "groove" along to the music as they do. It is a great toy for long drives, and has lead to lots of laughter and fun interaction for our family. They howled when my husband showed them his cool moves! I would so much rather my boys take turns with Groove-it, root each other on to reach their individual best, than stare blankly at a gameboy.

My frogger is sideways!

Actually Yes, I had the same problem as well. But I was able to fix it by lowering the screen resolution on the Frogger video setup. Hope that helps, BTW have you figured out how to get the music working cause I haven't.

Frogger pc game loads sideways

how do you mean it loads side ways, does it install side ways, or, does it play sideways?

Do the rest of your programs run sideways?

If so tamber with your monitor.

P.S. if you want an Expert to answer this repost, so that your problem comes up at the top of the unsolved problems list. You may also want to add some more information.

Hope this helps.

While playing hasbro scattergories game shuts down

If you're running windows Xp/Vista/7 this game isn't designed to run on it. This game was originally made for 98/ME and compatibility mode doesn't seem to get it to work.. if it does work it doesn't work for long. Personally, I think it's for FAT32 file systems .. not NTFS

I have the original hasbro CD Rom "axis and allies". I also have windows vista. I installed it successfully I thought, but when I get to the menu page to start playing the are no menu tabs.

Right click on the game icon, select properties and select the compatibility tab. From there check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2). It might be good to also check "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition" Hope it helps.

Scattagories Exits Suddenly

You're able to get it to run on XP all the way through? I commend you! It's designed to run on a Fat32 OS (98/ME) instead of NTFS (Xp and newer) .. I personally own the game and I've made images, and all sorts of work arounds, never been able to get it to work all the way. On XP it'd start up and play, but exit to desktop with no warning. On windows 7 (aka newer vista) it plays, but no video, just sound.
